Exactly one year ago, I decided to take the plunge and figure out how in the world to create a blog! Simply because at that point, I knew I had to pursue what had started to dictate so many of my thoughts.
Here we are a year since I made that choice, not knowing what would come from it. Financially, it hasn't brought me anything, but it's brought me so much joy, and that's how I know I did this solely for me. Not to become Instagram or Blogger famous but to pursue something that could possibly make me happy.
Eventually, I plan to share a post talking about "What I Learned My First Year Blogging" because there's truly so much that goes into it and it's one of my favorite things to read from other bloggers. As for today's post though, it is to honor the day I purchased my domain for the year; the day I started creating All Things Ashley Marie.
And I come to you today with an immense amount of gratitude. I feel thankful for all the bloggers before me for sharing their tips and paving the way, and for the ability to do this. I'm one of those bloggers who has an 8-5 job and loves it, but creating this blog has given me the greatest creative outlet I could ask for. AND ITS ALL MINE! I get to create any content my heart desires, and it goes without saying, but having that sense of ownership continues to bring me pure happiness.
I'd like to use this as an opportunity to take a look back at some of my favorite blog posts that I created throughout the last year. Enjoy the ride down memory lane with me!
